If "The Mod Files" Forum is ONLY for Mods/admins, I suggest setting permissions so only they can read it and post in it etc. Otherwise, what could seemingly be a 'private' forum is accessible by everyone on the forum.

We will do that once we actually GET mods..

And how do you propose to get them, eh? Voting? Asking those deemed worthy? Or do they volunteer?

I disabled pretty much everything for Awaiting Admin Approval, save for posting a topic to begin with.

Agreed. Best turn it off before many people realise it's absent.

Not really - you joining was pretty much a test of our approval system, which worked very nicely. I don't care that much about the calendar, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be working.

Well, it's just that I for one can nit see any mention of a calendar. Off-lined it for us members perchance?

Down the bottom, there's a box marked "Calendar Events". I kinda omitted a proper link to the calendar itself, but really, no-one cares that much.

How are you guys going to decide on who are going to be moderators in the first place?
Also, how many ranks are there other than admin and moderator? Or is it only those two?

@Gurk: You'd be one of my top choices for mod, short of my Group homeskillets dropping by.

@J: We've got member groups for "Forum Moderator" and "Global Moderator". Both are currently empty, of course.
