I used to get several virus attacks like every week on DeviantArt. Oddly, I don't at all anymore.

So, I've figured out why things are so quiet around here lately. The obvious reason is that Zippy's no longer around. There's more to it, though. And Gav, you're definitely not going to like it.

Lai's been talking to her lately, and it turns out that her father has begun to cast really bad suspicions upon us, specifically Gavla since he's the eldest here as far as I know. Specifically, a little matter of STRANGER DANGER. Her father seems to think that dear ol' Gavla is some sort of paedophile, and thus Zip is no longer allowed on here or BZPower. This is utterly ridiculous, is it not?

You'd think that the very fact that a substantial portion of this site's population other than her (hey, 2 out of 6 is substantial) consists of people she knows rather well in real life, and that one of the site's two staff members is someone she knows, would work in our favour. Needless to say, I'm pissed. Blocking her off BZP was just out-of-order; you're more likely to get assaulted at a preschool than on BZP.

Slight update on the Zippy issue: she's apparently been banned from using her Gmail for the same reasons, though this time she was communicating with Eljay. Turns out her parents suspect the same STRANGER DANGER stuff in regards to him. Smart, smart move indeed Gav. That site is what you get if you take the more juvenile component of BZP's population and remove any semblance of rules: absolute CHAOS. It's also what you get if you take the supremely stupid option of putting Eljay in charge of it. Arguably TMR does the same, but they actually have rules, so going there is not likely to make you want to vomit.

Speaking of which, it turns out that Zippy was banned from there as well, several months ago.
