Current plot sides

Alright, after a week/two weeks..we have a pretty kick-rump Plot.

We know the NightOwls are like a "family" How Gavla/Gavilan became one is unknown. But we do know that the current NightOwls are-

1. Gavilan
2.Jagg
3.Dagg
4.Gerlicky
5.Taka
6.Zippy
7.Chane.

We know the hunters are a small group. But we know the NightOwls dont ALL go hunt together.

Current Hunters-

1. Dlakii
2.Blade
3.Inferna.

Next up: Location of NightOwls. There base is set in two places. A cave outside the city/island, and Gavilan's shop's attic. The Hunter's place should be the police station or something else. I'll let Dlakii handle that.

Tools of the trade: Hunters have swords, Dlakii has powers. Gavilan has swords, and powers. The other NightOwls have a gun and a sword/dagger.

Each NightOwl has wings. Each gets them by Gavilan doing a energy trick to them. Currently, Zippy and I are doing a story about how Gavla got Zippy into the NightOwls. I'll do a comic showing the others.

The NightOwls are ONLY the NightOwls at night. In the day, there normal. Taka draws, Chane sells clothes, Dlakii is..Dlakii. Zippy is a hobo, Blade is a cop, Inferna's a cook and such and such. And I'm a butcher.

The NightOwls are Killing people. And when the Mayor/government gets the pics and facts of each murder, the ALTER the info to blame the NightOwls as evil beings. Thus, making Dlakii and his gang of three hunt them.

Each NightOwl is good..but acts bad. But there leader, Gavilan is not really good.

Dlakii's father has fought Gavilan on another island, the water island of Husk.

If "THIS" idea works, then there will be a "true" evil at the end of the first Season and such.

Just a few thoughts, notes and opinions:

One thought I had was that Inferna was an parttime armourer with the police force, specialising in building really destructive missiles and thus providing the equipment used by Dlakii, Blade and herself during the series, but I'm fine either way.
Dlakii's base is a large basement beneath the police station - think the Batcave as depicted in those Christian Bale Batman film. That's where Inferna does her armouring work.
A thought on the NightOwls: They're good, but they just go about doing good the wrong ways - i.e. brutally and with no regard for safety of others.
On the part of the government of New Aukini, it's not so much deliberate obscuration and alteration as it is sheer misinterpretation. They've got good intentions, but they're very poorly misinformed. Indeed, that could be a major point of the series: people can all have good intentions but don't go about doing something with them the right ways.
I've got a few ideas as to the workings of the NightOwls' powers, but in all honesty, that should be your domain; let's not let me hijack the series entirely, eh?

I knew there was a good reason to bring you on this project. Your smart, you have done this before.

And I agree. But Inferna can do both. Weapons in the day, cook at night.

Basement idea is top notch.

Perfect. Absolutely PERFECT. Oh yes, did I mention? Dlakii doesn't live in New Aukini; he's only there on the business of hunting the NightOwls. Lai, however, does live there, and thus it's at Lai's home which Dlakii lives during the series.

Blade is also there for business. He still technically lives in Meta-Nui.

Also, I've thought about some more stuff about the first few comics.

First, it's a chase between Dlakii and Gavla, Chane, and Taka (The original NightOwls). They're on a bombing mission, to blow up the Mako Reactor-

Err, I've been playing too much Final Fantasy. Razz

Then, the next few comics brings everyone else in. Gavilan gets the other NightOwls, I get recruited into the Light Dudes, etc.

Hey...Why don't we call the Light Dudes the Light Hunters?

And I have put mucho thought into how my powers work. I could think about NightOwls and think up an explanation, if you'd like.

Wait, when'd he say that? That said, I like the notion of him being someone who engineered the evidence so as to make the mayor want to have the (other?) NightOwls killed. It also makes sense, then, that he's providing a room for the one who's been hired to do just that.
